Julia Fox showcases her unique fashion sense in a dress made with hair and melted plastic

Julia Fox showcased her unique fashion sense as she headed out for dinner in Paris on Friday.

The 33-year-old actress and model turned heads in a see-through dress made with hair and melted plastic after stealing the show on the Cannes red carpet.

The Uncut Gems star’s daring ensemble showed off her trim figure on full display while leaving little to the imagination.

The strapless ultra short dress hugged her hips and was paired with black heels with fabric hanging off the toes.

She carried a purple bag that also seemed to be made from plastic.

Julia rocked a fierce makeup palette with purple and silver blush, sharply drawn eyeliner, pencil-thin eyebrows, and bluish-purple lipstick.

Her luscious brunette tresses were worn down straight in a wet-look.

Julia recently told PageSix that while at Cannes, she has been talking up a new movie that she is behind.

The fashion influencer is in pre-production on a movie called Lipstick Palm, she shared, and she wrote the script with her friend Sara Apple. 

The red carpet siren said the movie is cross between Weekend At Bernie’s and Spring Breakers, and it promises to be over-the-top. 

The mother-of-one added that the female leads with one being a drug addict and the other a nepo baby that has so many siblings it’s not a big deal.

And she added that there there is ‘a dead body somewhere,’ which would invite in the Weekend At Bernies comparisons.

Weekend At Bernies was a 1989 comedy starring Andrew McCarthy and Jonathan Silverman about insurance corporation employees who discover that their boss, Bernie, is dead, after arriving at his house.

Spring Breakers was a 2013 starring Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez and Ashley Benson movie about college students that rob a diner for fun money before driving  to Florida but are arrested

Fox has a background in movies: she acted in the Adam Sandler film Uncut Gems in 2019 and was also in the movie No Sudden Move in 2021.

But this time she would be working behind the camera as well.

‘It’s about these two girls and they are in LA,’ Fox told the site.

She was interviewed on a yacht in Cannes during an event to benefit the charity Art of Elysium.

She added: ‘They are classic. 

‘One is an aspiring actress, and the other is a nepotism baby — but her dad had like seven kids, so the pool has been diluted. 

‘They’re drug addicts, so they are in recovery, but they are always in and out. One has a sugar daddy.’

And, of course, she noted, ‘There is a dead body involved somewhere.’

She feels good about her chances of making it as a writer in Hollywood.

‘My friends always say I would make a great dictator, but what I am hoping they mean is that I would make a great director,’ she joked. 

Earlier this year Fox said that being ‘a little bit delusional’ has helped her to achieve success.

The actress believes that her single-minded attitude has been central to her career in the movie business.

Asked if she considers herself to be ambitious, Julia replied: ‘I think to get anywhere you want in life, you have to be a little bit delusional. You have to be like, “I’m gonna be that b****,’ you know?”‘

The  star – who dated Kanye West in 2022 – also feels that she’s changed markedly over the last 12 months.

Julia – who has a two-year-old son called Valentino – said: ‘I’ve definitely changed. I feel different from even, like, last year.’
