Proving that beauty has no age barrier, the Far From Heaven star opted for understated glamour, slipping into a Gothic inspired frock.

The piece featured semi-transparent sleeves, and offered a glimpse of her shapely legs which she elongated in a pair of strappy black sandals, accentuated by her black pedicure.

Accentuating her flawless skin and enviable bone structure with minimal make-up, the American beauty posed up a storm for cameras.

New York based Julianne, who shares Caleb, 19, and Liv, 15 with her husband of 14 years Bart Freundlich, 47, has been having some well-deserved time off parenting duties.

Her busy week in Paris comes after the doting mother has spent a busy year working on multiple movies and TV shows.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle is her most recently released project, where she plays villain global entrepreneur Poppy Adams.

She recently told Cinemablend her role was inspired by villains Lex Luthor and Eve Teschmacher, played by Gene Hackman and Valerie Perrine respectively.

The action-comedy movie also features Channing Tatum, Halle Bery and Taron Eggerton.

Earlier this week, Amazon released a new trailer for the movie Wonderstruck where Julianne plays a silent film actress.

While talking about Wonderstuck, Julianne revealed to Vanity Fair that it was a ‘privilege’ to have played a deaf character.

‘For me, as a hearing person who grew up in a hearing world, I’m not ever going to fully understand that,’ she admitted

‘But what they allowed me to do was to stand in the doorway between those rooms and observe them both. It was an incredible privilege.’

Wonderstruck will be out in theatres October 20.
