Juliette Binoche, 58, dons a chic silk blazer as she larks around with her co-stars at the Winterboy premiere during the San Sebastian Film Festival

Juliette Binoche was the epitome of sophistication as she graced the red carpet at the Le Lyceen/ Winterboy premiere during the 70th San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain on Monday.

The French icon, 58, donned a chic black ensemble for the occasion which featured an oversized silk blouse and high-waisted trousers.

Juliette appeared in her element as she larked around with her young co-stars before taking their seats to enjoy the film.

The Chocolat actress stars in the new French movie that follows the story of a gay teen finding his place in modern day Paris. 

Since its creation in 1953, the film festival has hosted several international premiere’s including Vertigo by Alfred Hitchcock and Star Wars.  

Juliette completed the outfit with a stylish magenta blazer and slipped her feet into strappy red heels. 

The Oscar winner accessorised the stylish look with a selection of silver jewellery as she accentuated her age-defying features with a hint of make-up.

She appeared in her element as she joked around with her co-stars Vincent Lacoste and Paul Kricher who both donned smart suits for the event. 

The official synopsis reads: ‘Lucas (Paul Kricher) is 17 when his teenage world is suddenly shattered. He views his life as a wild animal in need of taming’. 

‘Between a brother settled in Paris and a mother (Juliette Binoche) with whom he now lives alone, Lucas will to have to fight to rediscover hope and love’.

It comes after the actress took to the stage to accept an award at the annual film festival on Sunday. 

Juliette slipped into a silky black jumpsuit for the occasion, showcasing her fantastically trim figure. 

She then completed the look with a bright lavender cape which boasted a canary yellow lining and dramatic fringe detailing.

The Donostia Award is an honorary award created in 1986 which is given every year to a number of actors and movie makers. 

And Juliette was celebrated at Sunday’s event alongside The Fly director David Cronenberg. 

Strutting her stuff in towering black platform heels the Oscar winner accessorised the ensemble with a selection of gold jewellery.

Other winners of the Donostia Award include Marion Cotillard, Penélope Cruz, Meryl Streep, Francis Ford Coppola and Bette Davis.
