Jurgen Klopp has admitted Liverpool are still active in the transfer market despite enduring a quiet window so far.
Klopp, whose side touched down in New York on Tuesday as they continue their pre-season tour of the United States, has only brought in young Dutch centre-back Sepp van den Berg this summer.
Liverpool are aiming to go one better in the Premier League next season after being agonisingly pipped to the title last campaign by Manchester City.

There are suggestions Liverpool need to add depth to their squad if they want to beat Pep Guardiola’s men to the title next season.
However, Klopp has remained calm about the transfer window and claimed it was never going to be busy following their statement summer last year, in which they brought the likes of Alisson, Fabinho, Naby Keita on top of the January arrival of Virgil van Dijk.
‘We are still looking, but it will not be the (biggest) transfer window of LFC,’ the German manager told the Liverpool Echo. ‘It just will be a transfer window.
‘We will see what we do, and if we haven’t done anything by the end it will be for different reasons.

‘It’s about using this team. In the transfer window, you have to build a team that you think you want to go into the season with. But I have that team already.
‘If we can bring somebody else in that makes it even better, we will see. But if not, this team is already there. And again we will have to find solutions at different moments.’
The Reds are currently in the US as they continue their pre-season tour prior to getting their Premier League campaign underway at home to Norwich on August 9.
