Jurgen Klopp’s side are currently in Marbella for a warm weather training camp ahead of the final and Firmino trained alongside his team-mates there on Tuesday.
His rehabilitation has been carefully managed by the club’s medical staff and Firmino will continued to follow a specialised programme over the coming days to maximise his chances of playing in the final.
It would come as a major boost for Klopp to have a player back who has scored 16 goals and contributed eight assists in all competitions this season.

In his absence, Liverpool were pipped to the Premier League title by Manchester City but have the chance to win Europe’s premier prize for the sixth time.
