Just call him the chicken whisperer! Oklahoma man shows how to hypnotize a chicken

  • A chicken is hypnotized within a matter of seconds and it is all caught on video
  • The man directs people to hold the chicken’s head down against the ground
  • Then, simply drawing a line at the beak and extending outwards will place the chicken into a trance
  • If done properly the chicken will lie still between 30 seconds to half an hour
  • To wake the chicken up just clicking fingers or a gentle push is all that’s needed

A man from Oklahoma has created a video that shows people how to hypnotize a chicken.

The minute-long video shows the man from Eurfaula, Oklahoma placing the chicken on a wooden table before gently rubbing its back and stroking it.

‘Hope everyone had a good Fourth of July,’ he says welcoming viewers to the clip.

‘As most of ya’ll know I got a tonne of chickens,’ he begins. ‘This is little Eddy. He  weighs about a pound and a half and is pretty tame.’

‘I just want to show everybody how to hypnotize a chicken,’ the man continues, still stroking the chicken with his hand.

‘You sit the chicken down. Put its head on the table. They get wound up so you have to force them to stay down,’ he says as the chicken appears to settle.

‘Then, take your finger and draw a line out about that far,’ the man instructs as he draws an imaginary line from the chicken’s beak outwards.

‘And when you’re ready to wake them up just click your fingers like that!’ he says, at which point the chicken suddenly springs to life clucking away as if nothing had happened.
