Justin Bieber goes shirtless as he delivers the hits at Rock In Rio… following cancelation rumors

The crowd was reportedly buzzing over rumors that Justin Bieber would cancel his main headlining slot at day three of the first weekend of the Rock In Rio festival in Brazil.

The thousands of Belieber fans who choose that particular show, out of the seven dates of the two-weekend festival, were relieved to see the pop superstar come out of the shadows and onto the stage for the show.

And while the Never Say Never pop superstar began the show in a white T-shirt with black and white baggy pants, it wouldn’t be long before he went shirtless, to the delight of his young fans.

Headliner: Justin Bieber, 28, delivered the hits when he served as the main headliner for day three of the first weekend of the Rock In Rio festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Sunday

The show kicked off with an opening video complete with a digital version of Bieber seemingly in space, and then flying into the air, through fields, where he would befriend a butterfly.

As the clip continued with its trippy feel, the singer–songwriter offered deep commentary where he talked about ‘how life is complicated, scary and difficult,’ all while adding how it’s also ‘wonderful, exciting and breathtaking.’

It ends with the background music building in intensity: ‘We’re all in this together, but of my journey can help you, it’s all good, I love you people,’ he concluded, to the roar of the massive crowd.

It’s at this point that the lights lit up and the band began kick into the show opener, Somebody, off his most recent Justice studio album.

With a white baseball cap on backwards and dark sunglasses added to his ensemble, the Canadian born star opted not to come in to intense with initial few songs.

More recent charmers like Yummy and Changes led into the hit Love Yourself.

The pop star eventually slipped into black pants, a puffer coat and a pink beanie cap, to go along with his white sneakers, during the set.

But again, he would end up going shirtless before long, which was a sure hit with the Beliebers, the name his hardcore fans are called.

Bieber ended the set with the three song combo of Intentions, Boyfriend and Baby, and then left the stage. After roars from the crowd, he reappeared to do two encore songs: Peaches and Anyone.

The Justice World Tour is in support of his fifth and sixth studio albums Changes (2020) and Justice (2021)

The tour was originally set to begin on May 14, 2020 in Seattle and to conclude on September 26, 2020 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. But, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, those initial plan and dates were postponed to 2021, and then later to 2022.

After all the scrapped plans and false starts, Bieber eventually kicked off the Justice World Tour on February 18 at Pechanga Arena in San Diego.

Earlier in the summer, Bieber canceled a number of his North American shows and appearances that were scheduled for late June and early July.

It would be revealed on his Instagram page that the cancellations were due to a Ramsay Hunt Syndrome diagnosis, which caused facial paralysis.

‘For those who are frustrated by my cancelations of the next shows, I’m just physically, obviously, not capable of doing them,’ said Bieber on Instagram. ‘There’s full paralysis on this side of my face.’

Having returned to live performances in late July, there was more talk that he would cancel the Rock In Rio show, and others. In the end, he would deliver on Rock In Rio, but Siv Telegram Media is reporting that he will be cancelling shows that follow in South America. So far there hasn’t been an official announcement from Team Bieber.
