Justine Schofield announces the birth of her son with former AFL star Brent Staker:

Justine Schofield has welcomed a beautiful baby boy with former AFL star Brent Staker.

The former MasterChef star shared the news on Instagram on Sunday evening, alongside an adorable photo of the couple holding their newborn son’s little legs. 

‘Our beautiful baby boy Louis Staker is here. We are so in love,’ Justine wrote beside the image. 

She also left her followers in no doubt as to how to pronounce the little man’s name.

‘Pronounced Loui’, she added beside a blue love heart emoji.

In the image, Louis is seen wearing a green a white striped onesie as he laid on what appeared to be a sheet decorated with animals. 

Meanwhile, Brent also paid tribute to his first child on his own Instagram account.

‘Our beautiful boy Louis Staker is here… Just in time for Father’s Day,’ he posted.

Justine’s post was quickly inundated with celebrity well-wishes.

Channel Seven weatherman Sam Mac, model Erin Holland and MasterChef stars Laura Sharrad, Melissa Leong, Emilia Jackson and Sarah Tiong also shared kind words. 

Justine initially revealed she and her AFL-star partner were expecting in March. 

‘We’re having a bubba. So excited, so grateful,’ she wrote on Instagram.

Since hanging up his boots in 2015, Brent became an assistant coach for Brisbane’s AFLW team and also appeared on Australian Ninja Warrior in 2019 

While Brent, a former West Coast Eagles and Brisbane Lions defender, wrote on Instagram at the time: ‘Very exciting times ahead…soon to be ‘all hands on deck’ welcoming our new bub’.
