Juventus have reportedly contacted Mino Raiola as they step up their plans to sign Paul Pogba on a free transfer this summer.

Pogba’s contract at Manchester United expires at the end of the season and it is widely expected that he will leave Old Trafford.

The French midfielder previously made 178 appearances for Juventus during a four year spell at the club between 2012 and 2016.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have opened talks with super-agent Raiola as they aim to secure Pogba’s return.

The report adds that the Turin outfit are ready to offer the 28-year-old a £6.2million-a-year salary, which could rise to as high as £8.3million-a-year if add-ons are taken into account.

As Pogba moves closer to the end of his deal at Manchester United, speculation around his future continues to intensify.

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also keen to sign the World Cup winner when he becomes available in the summer.

Pogba has scored once in 20 appearances for United in all competitions this season, missing two months of the campaign due to a hamstring injury.

In his previous spell at Juventus, the midfielder won four Serie A titles and the Coppa Italia on two occasions and also helped the club to the 2015 Champions League final.
