Kacey Musgraves dazzles in feathery denim frock at starry CMA Awards 2024 in Nashville

Kacey Musgraves dazzled onlookers as she arrived at the 58th Annual CMA Awards in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday night.

The seven-time Grammy Award-winner, 36, hit the red carpet in a busty blue denim frock decked out with sparkly jewels.

Musgraves’ show-stopping dress also featured long sleeves covered in fluffy ostrich feathers.

She stood on tall nude-toned pumps as she struck pose after pose for the cameras.

The Golden Hour hitmaker left her silky brunette hair down and opted for sexy brown eyeshadow for the night.

Along with being up for three awards, Musgraves is slated to perform her single ‘The Architect’ off her latest album Deeper Well at Wednesday’s ceremony.

Deeper Well was nominated in the coveted Album Of The Year category.

Kacey will battle it out against the likes of Lainey Wilson and Kelsea Ballerini in the Female Vocalist Of The Year category.

And last but not least, her duet ‘I Remember Everything’ with Zach Bryan was nominated for Musical Event Of The Year.

The duo lost out on the award to Ella Langley and Riley Green’s ‘You Look Like You Love Me.’

Deeper Well is Kacey’s sixth studio album and was released on March 15, 2024.

It was the highly-anticipated follow-up to 2021’s Star-Crossed.

CMA Award nominations for the 2024 ceremony were announced in September.

Controversial crooner Morgan Wallen is this year’s most-nominated artist with seven nominations.

For a third year in a row, Wallen is up for both the top prize – Entertainer Of The Year – and the Male Vocalist categories.

Following in second place are Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton, who both nabbed five nominations.

Lainey Wilson and Post Malone are also both up for four nominations.

Malone’s nominations all come from his collaboration with Wallen, I Had Some Help.

I Had Some Help has been nominated for single, song, musical event and music video of the year.

Musgraves, Louis Bell, Luke Combs, Charlie Handsome, Hoskins and Jelly Roll  are all up for three awards.

Beyonce, who released her full-length country album Country Carter this year, notably did not receive any nominations.

Earlier this year, the album hit No. 1 on the Billboard country albums chart, making her the first Black woman to top the chart since its 1964 inception.

The album was five years in the making, a direct result of what Beyoncé has called ‘an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed … and it was very clear that I wasn’t.’

This was most likely a reference to a 2016 CMAs performance that resulted in racist backlash.

The CMA Awards are nominated and voted on by members of the Country Music Association, which includes music executives, artists, publicists, songwriters and other industry professionals.
