He’s a multifaceted writer who earns a living writing advertising copy for his own company, Honey Copy, according to his personal website.
Cole has also published three volumes of poetry under the name January Black.

Earlier this Spring, Kacey was rumored to be dating Dr. Gerald Onuoha, a Nashville-based internal medicine specialist.
The two were spotted looking affectionate around the country music capital, and the physician made several appearances in her Instagram Stories.
However, the possible romance appears to have fizzled out now that the singer has been enjoying time in the Big Apple with Cole.

Last month, Kacey graced the cover of Elle and opened up about the difficult final months of her marriage to musician Ruston Kelly.
The couple announced their separation in July of 2020 and had finalized their divorce by September of that year.
‘I felt, in many ways, on top of the world in my career, but in my personal life, I felt like I was dying inside. I was crumbling. I was sad. I felt lonely. I felt broken,’ she admitted.
She and Ruston, 32, first met in 2016 while meeting up at the iconic Bluebird Cafe to work on songwriting together, but their burgeoning romance proved to be even more inspirational and informed her acclaimed 2018 album Golden Hours.
The two were engaged later in 2016 and married on October 14, 2017 in Tennessee.
