‘It’s not for this chapter,’ she told The Cut, adding that at 35, she’s in a more ‘focused’ phase of her life.

‘Maybe later, when I’m a 60-year-old lady with nothing to do and I’m just doing pottery all day, maybe,’ she added. ‘We’ll see.’

She also disclosed that the lyrics about her smoking marijuana out of a homemade bong in her new song, Deeper Well, tells the true story of her former ‘stoner’ lifestyle.

‘I used to wake and bake, roll out of bed, hit the gravity bong I made,’ she sings in the the lead single off her upcoming album of the same name.

The album, which debuted on March 15, is the highly anticipated  follow-up to 2021’s Star-Crossed, which explored her 2020 divorce from husband Ruston Kelly.

Kacey isn’t completely steering clear of mind-bending substances; however, she admitted to being a fan of psilocybin, the naturally occurring psychedelic compound produced by more than 200 species of fungi, aka magic mushrooms.

‘When used with intention, I think it’s a massive dose of compassion and reverence for nature, fellow humans, yourself,’ she claimed to the outlet.

The big marijuana reveal comes after Kacey’s musical guest stint on Saturday Night Live with host Sydney Sweeney.
