Kaia Gerber was the spitting image of her mother Cindy Crawford as she posed in a strikingly similar outfit to one her parent wore three decades ago.

The model, 23, looked incredible as she wore a bright red mini dress for Givenchy’s new autumn/winter 2025 collection.

The skimpy garment was strikingly similar to one Cindy, 59, wore when she attended Revlon’s Unforgettable Women event in New York City back in 1990. 

Cindy’s outfit featured a sweetheart neckline and she also wore an eye-catching silver necklace. 

Kaia’s look was more understated with a pair of black flat shoes and dark earrings.

Cindy became one of the world’s most popular supermodels in the 80s and 90s and Kaia has been following in her footsteps ever since. 

She has also dabbled in acting with roles in American Horror Story and the 2024 dark comedy Shell.     

Meanwhile, Kaia stepped out in another red dress on Thursday as she attended the Gonzo Girl premiere during the Tribeca Film Festival.

The model sported a plunging polka dot midi dress which she paired with a black handbag and white flats. 

Last year, Kaia spoke highly of her mom as she reflected on how working together over the years has taken their relationship to a new level. 

‘I do feel like we’ve established a really strong bond and friendship outside of just a mother-daughter dynamic, which has been so fun for me over the last few years,’ Kaia told People. 

Cindy, 58, agreed. ‘We went to Burning Man together,’ she told the outlet.

‘We just did a retreat together, we both love reading,’ the Peabody Award winner added.

‘Yeah, it’s a lot of like talking about what books we’re reading, sharing podcasts.’

‘Theater,’ chimed in Cindy. ‘Yeah, we go see a lot of theater together,’ Kaia concurred.

Both mother and daughter are ambassadors for Omega watches. 

‘I think when we work together, it’s really no different than if I was working with another professional,’ she explained.

Turning to her daughter The Super Models star contended, ‘I feel like when I’m at work with you, it’s not like, “Oh, I am with my daughter. She’s also Kaia and she has her own place in the world.”‘

‘It feels more like I get to work with just a really good friend.’  

Kaia agreed, adding, ‘Maybe I would complain a little bit more to you than I would to another person, but I wouldn’t say anything different than that.’

But that doesn’t mean they don’t have some typical parent and child issues.

‘She is a cool mom and she still embarrasses me constantly,’ the Bottoms actress admitted.

‘But it’s good! It brings me back down to earth… I probably embarrass her constantly as well.’
