Kaia Gerber revealed that she received a matching tattoo with Ayo Edebiri during a new interview with E! News.
The 22-year-old model and actress, 28, costarred as Brittany and Josie in the 2023 comedy feature Bottoms and developed a close friendship while working on the set of the film.
The performer – who recently referred to her mother as her ‘hot date’ – went on to reveal that she cemented her friendship with the star of The Bear by receiving a bit of fresh ink.
Gerber stated: ‘I went to see her on SNL and she did such a wonderful job. The next day, I thought she would just stay in bed and kind of relax after what I know is a very intense week, but she was like, “We’re getting tattoos.”‘
The daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber then humorously added: ‘Whatever she says, I do.’

However, the model expressed that she wanted to keep her fresh ink ‘hidden’ from the public for the time being.
Gerber also joked about how her friend was ‘not speaking’ to her after learning about the social media personality’s casting in the upcoming feature SNL 1975, in which she will reunite with Bottoms’ star, Rachel Sennott.
The social media figure went on to discuss how her sense of humor played into the type of roles she chose.
‘I am the driest of the dry girl ever. Maybe that’s why I’m able to do comedies and play everything very straight,’ she stated.
Gerber concluded by speaking about her time on the set of the upcoming television series Palm Royale and stated that she thoroughly enjoyed working with her costars.
‘I was just absorbing all of it. What I love about this cast so much is that all of them just lead by example. I saw the professionalism. I saw that none of them took themselves too seriously. We made a very fun show,’ she said.
Palm Royale is based on Juliet McDaniel’s novel Mr. & Mrs. American Pie, which was originally published in 2018.
The series is centered on a woman who will stop at nothing to make a name for herself in Palm Beach’s high society.

The cast of the program is led by Kristen Wiig and Laura Dern, who serve as two of the program’s executive producers.
Also set to appear in the program are Allison Janney, Carol Burnett and Ricky Martin.
Gerber is set to portray a hairdresser named Mitzi, and she was added to the program’s cast in February of 2022.
Palm Royale is currently scheduled to make its debut on the Apple TV+ streaming service on March 20.
