A man who was filmed as he dumped a paralysed woman in front of a hospital after allegedly shooting her has been arrested.
NSW Police officers from the Tactical Operations Unit arrested Kamal Eljamal, 33, in Picnic Point, southwest Sydney, at about 10pm on Friday after he was allegedly found hiding in a roof cavity.
Police allege Eljamal shot a 37-year-old woman through the ceiling of a home in nearby Condell Park on January 12.
A man wearing a hoodie and tights, who police allege to be Eljamal, was later caught on CCTV parking his Mercedes in front of Bankstown Hospital to drop off the woman.
She has been left paralysed by the gunshot which severed her upper spinal cord and damaged internal organs.
