Two iconic Australian destinations have been named as two of the best places to visit in the world for 2023. 

Kangaroo Island came in at number seven on the New York Times’ annual list of the 52 best places to go in the world in 2023 while Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park earned a spot at number 29. 

South Australia’s Kangaroo Island is one of the country’s biggest travel hotspots with pristine beaches, incredible hiking trails, picturesque scenery, a gourmet food and wine scene and luxury accommodation. 

The world-famous Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park in the heart of the Northern Territory is arguably one of Australia’s most popular and globally-recognisable tourist attractions, home to sacred Indigenous site and world heritage listed Uluru rock.
