The children, who live full-time with their engineer father, were getting ready to head back to his place before their mother allegedly poisoned them in an attempted murder scheme
The kids were on a scheduled visit with mom Roever at the time and were preparing to return to their dad, John’s, where they live full-time, according to Fox 4 KC.
It seems the father had been banging on the front door for some time early Monday evening to get the kids when no one answered.
Neighbors were alerted of the matter when they heard the knocking at the residential complex and police were called.
That’s when the mother was forced to reveal she had given her children something poisonous.
