Kanye West is BACK on Elon Musk’s X – where he hawks his $200 foldable ‘sock boots’ and praises his ‘liberation from Adidas’ – which ended multi-million dollar partnership with him over his anti-Semitic rants

Kanye West has returned to Elon Musk’s X to advertise his $200 foldable ‘sock boots’ almost five months after his account was reinstated.

The rapper, 46, was initially booted off the app in December 2022 following a series of offensive and anti-Semitic posts – one of which appeared to show a symbol combining a swastika and the Star of David.

His account was then restored in July but he is now active on the platform again.

West used one of his first posts to praise his ‘liberation from Adidas’ after the retailer ended its partnership, estimated to be worth $1.5billion, with him over his anti-Semitic rants.

The Grammy-winning artist also unveiled his first Yeezy product since the agreement ended and announced it was put on presale on Friday.

West’s first post back on X on Wednesday was to share news that he recruited Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy as the company’s head of design.

He returned to the platform the next day with a message for Nicki Minaj in which he said: ‘Hi, it’s Ye. May I call you about clearing new body on the new album.’

The rapper then announced on Friday that his first Yeezy product, since the partnership with Adidas ended, was put on presale.

‘Yeezy debuts the foldable future of footwear, YZY POD,’ his statement read.

‘Our first product since liberation from Adidas goes on presale today, $200 at yeezy.com. Accept no limitations.’

The calf-high boot features a sock-like design which has a foldable knit upper and can be easily stored when not in use. It is only available in three sizes and in the color black.

West’s last post before his account was initially suspended was on December 1, 2022.

In the months leading up to his suspension, he made repeated anti-Semitic remarks in a series of offensive posts.

He was kicked off ‘for incitement to violence’ after the rapper posted the picture of the swastika – the symbol of the Nazi party – along with the Jewish holy symbol.

The post came hours after an interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, when West sparked outrage by declaring his ‘love’ of Nazis and his admiration for Adolf Hitler.

West’s account was initially locked for 12 hours, preventing him from posting, and he was later suspended.

Musk, who purchased the platform in October 2022 and was known for taking a more relaxed stance on content moderation, told West: ‘Sorry, but you have gone too far. This is not love’, in a text message shared by the rapper before the ban.

West responded: ‘Who made you the judge.’

‘I tried my best’ Musk wrote in a post after X deleted his offensive message and temporarily locked his account.

‘Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended.’

Subsequently, his X and Instagram accounts were blocked and lucrative deals fell through.

After West’s string of vile anti-Semitic comments, his reputation was left in tatters and causing brands – including Adidas, Balenciaga, Vogue and GAP – to drop him in droves.

The performer was unrepentant, refusing in multiple interviews to apologize.

As a result, his net worth plummeted. His divorce from ex-wife Kim Kardashian also finalized the same week.

In October 2022, after being censored on Instagram, West returned to X with a post suggesting he would be ‘going death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.’

He added: ‘The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also. You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.’

That renewed attack on Jewish people came just a day after sharing screenshots on Instagram revealing messages sent to Diddy in which West accused the rapper of being controlled by Jewish people for trying to silence his ‘White Lives Matter’ message.

The post resulted in his Instagram account being suspended.

West’s profile on X was reinstated back in July but he was not eligible to monetize and adverts did not appear next to his posts.

X reinstated Ye’s account after receiving reassurance that he wouldn’t use the platform to share anti-Semitic or otherwise harmful language.

Musk had previously reinstated former U.S. President Donald Trump’s account after some 14.8 million X users had voted in favor of the reinstatement.

While right-wing conspiracy theorist Jones’ account was allowed back on to the platform on Sunday following a poll.

Close to 2 million votes were cast by the time the poll closed, with about 70 percent voting in favor of his reinstatement.
