Kardashian fans have created a parody Instagram account

Two Kardashian obsessed friends have created a parody Instagram account that sees them dressing up as members of the famous family in order to recreate images of them – both social media snaps and paparazzi shots.

What Would Yeezus Wear, which is the brainchild of San Francisco-based creators Katie Yuko and Kathleen E. Lee mainly features a variety of different shots of the reality TV stars, from candid snaps of them out and about shopping, to posed pictures taken to celebrate the holiday season.

Katie and Katheleen then recreate the pictures by mimicking their poses and outfit choices, donning the same kind of athleisurewear looks championed by the famous family, particularly Kim and her husband Kanye West.

Guidance: They started the account named What Would Yeezus Wear in 2014 and continue to post pictures like this one of Kim and North from 2017

What started as an homage of sorts to Kim and Kanye back in 2014, has since morphed into an all-encompassing family affair.

The account now features hilarious pictures of Katie and Kathleen dressed as the couple’s children North and Saint, with both women even copying their Disney themed Aladdin and Princess Jasmine Halloween costumes.

In most of the kid pictures, Kathleen takes on the persona of North and Saint, and is carried around by Katie, just like Kim and Kanye carry their own kids in real life.

More recently, Grandma Kris Jenner and aunts, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie have also featured, with Kathleen’s mom donning faux fur and floral pants to mimic a photo of the Kardashian matriarch.

Say cheese: The Instagram account now has over 93,000 followers and even Kim is a fan

And with over 93,000 followers, most pictures receive thousands of likes and hundreds of comments.

Speaking to Refinery29 about why they decided to launch the account, the creative duo revealed that they initially did it because they thought it was funny, and because they hoped it would also give them a creative outlet.

For Kathleen, the account is an expression of her fascination with reality TV.

‘I truly love pop culture and ‘Internetting’ as a study in human psychology, so Kimye is the perfect case study in celebrity and how the public treats that,’ she shared.

‘We’re going to keep up this hobby until the idea of making $10,000 handbags out of Trader Joe’s bags no longer makes us laugh,’ Katie added.

Kathleen also hosts a weekly podcast named Say Bible that is billed as ‘A podcast for the Kardashian Konnoisseur’.

Recent episodes have dealt with Kanye’s absence in 2017, Kylie’s refusal to pose for the annual Kardashian Christmas card and the family’s on-going drama with Blac Chyna.
