Karen Ristevski’s step son Anthony Rickard writing a book

Author in the making? Karen Ristevski’s step son Anthony Rickard

Karen Ristevski’s step-son has almost finished writing a book about the murdered Melbourne woman and his family.

Friends said Anthony Rickard has been working away on an autobiography with the current title ‘A life of misery: from Rickard to Ristevski’.

Mr Rickard has often fumed about his dad, Borce Ristevski, on social media. It’s believed the book will discuss his feelings toward Mr Ristevski and other family members.

Daily Mail Australia understands Mr Rickard is planning to self-publish the book, although he may not release it for some time.

‘He’s nearly finished it,’ said his close friend of two decades, Anthony Cefala.

‘He’s on the perfect path at the moment and we are willing to support to him all the way until justice is served.’

‘We’re here to support him…He’s improved from bad experiences in the past.’

Mr Rickard this week launched defamation action against Channel Nine’s A Current Affair program for a previous TV report.

His step-mother, Karen, disappeared from the family’s home in Avondale Heights on June 29, 2016. She was never seen alive again.

Borce Ristevski’s lawyer has said his client is the ‘number one’ police suspect in Karen’s disappearance.

Police have confirmed he is a suspect, but won’t discuss whether there are others.

No one has been charged over Mrs Ristevski’s death.
