With talk surrounding whether Karl should have taken a pay cut, to even up Lisa’s salary, a Today show employee was quoted as saying: ‘Fat chance. We don’t go around talking about how much we’re earning, but we all read about it.
‘Karl and Lisa did well to establish a working relationship, but that’s all it was.’

The Australian reported that Karl earns at least $2 million a year, in a three-year contract with a potential bonus that could take his salary to $3 million if ratings are hit.

The pair reflected on Dave’s decision on their KIIS FM show on Wednesday, with Kate raising questions as to why Karl didn’t do the same for Lisa.

The pair have now signed to the HIT network for 2018, and Kate confirmed: ‘When we go to our new job, we get pay parity.’
