‘To my eldest, a beautiful human’: Karl Stefanovic dedicates a sweet birthday message to his son Jackson on his 22nd birthday
Today show host Karl Stefanovic is a proud father of four.
And on Saturday, he dedicated a sweet Instagram post to his eldest son Jackson in celebration of his 22nd Birthday.
‘Happy birthday to my eldest. A beautiful human,’ he began his caption alongside a selfie with his son.

Amid the COVID-19 border closures, Melbourne-based Jackson – whom Karl shares with ex-wife Cassandra Thornburn – is separated from his father in Sydney.
Ever the jokester, Karl added: ‘I love you to Brighton and back and a thousand times over.’
Karl’s wife and Jackson’s step mother Jasmine Yarbrough, was quick to comment on the post, writing: ‘Awwww the boys,’ adding love heart emojis.

In June, the 46-year-old Today host shared a photo of himself and Jackson bonding over the State of Origin.
In the photo, which was uploaded to Instagram, both Karl and Jackson sat side-by-side while enthralled in the 21-year-old’s phone.
The moment was a big one for Karl, who had in the past had a rocky relationship with his son.
‘Queenslanders do their homework. At the pub. That’s the difference. Jacko and I reckon by a slim 40 points tonight,’ Karl captioned the post at the time.

Cassandra, 50, and Karl were married for 22 years, with Jackson siding with his mother after his parents’ bitter split.
‘My mother is the most extraordinary person, and what she has weathered these past few years, no one deserves the backlash,’ Jackson told Woman’s Day in March 2019.
‘To watch my parents’ private lives play out so publicly was incredibly destructive for all of us – someone had to step up and protect her, and I knew that person was me.’

Speaking about Karl, he added: ‘Despite what’s happened, he’s still my dad. I’ll leave it there for now – who knows what happens next.’
In addition to Jackson, Karl also shares daughter Ava, 16, and son River, 14, with Cassandra.
He’s also dad to a one-year-old daughter, Harper, who he shares with his wife of over two years, shoe designer Jasmine.
Karl and Jasmine, 37, were married in December 2018 in a star-studded ceremony in San José del Cabo, Mexico.
