Karl Stefanovic shocks fans as he ‘reveals’ full body tattoo: ‘I didn’t know you had a tiger on your chest’

Karl Stefanovic shocked his fans on Thursday when he revealed what appeared to be a tattoo of a tiger on his chest.

The veteran TV presenter, 49, set tongues wagging during a segment on Today that saw him go head to head in a hot sauce contest with co-host Sarah Abo, 38. 

The gruelling challenge saw Karl and Sarah face off at a dinner table as the hosts ate chicken nuggets which had been dipped in a variety of extremely hot sauces.

As the segment progressed, Stefanovic commented, ‘It’s getting hot in here’, before removing his black hoodie to reveal a colourful tattoo across his manly torso.

‘I don’t want to see this!’ gasped a shocked Sarah.

‘Oh wow, I didn’t know you had a great big tiger on your chest,’ she continued in horror. 

However, upon closer inspection, Karl was wearing a flesh coloured T-shirt adorned with a tattoo-like design, often favoured by colouful characters. 

Karl soon shared the footage to Instagram, much to the delight of his fans and celebrity friends.

As the segment progressed, Stefanovic commented, ‘It’s getting hot in here’, before removing his black hoodie to reveal a colourful tattoo across his manly torso. ‘I don’t want to see this!’ gasped a shocked Sarah 

‘The absolute best,’ write Sarah Abo.

‘It’s the tattoo shirt for me. Hilarious,’ wrote The Bachelor’s Keira Maguire, pointing out the obvious. 

‘This is such funny content,’ wrote another, before adding, ‘The surprise T-shirt. Love you, Karl’.

And the comments kept coming. 

‘Love you two,’ wrote one more fan, while one another echoed the sentiment.

‘Loved this on the Today show this morning,’ they wrote, alongside two clapping hand emojis.  

After painstakingly trying several hot sauces, Karl began to feel the heat and shoved a cucumber slice into his mouth in an attempt to cool down.

‘I think we have a clear winner – me – because look at the state you’re in,’ a cheeky Sarah quipped. 

Stefanovic added on the social media platform that while filming the segment had been ‘great fun’, he was still feeling the effects of the hot sauce hours later.
