Once upon a time, Karl Stefanovic was rarely seen in public without his favourite pair of well-worn Birkenstocks.
But the Channel Nine host, 43, swapped his casual footwear for $260 Gucci slides on Tuesday as he arrived for a radio interview in Sydney.
Looking youthful, Karl also rocked a pair of skinny jeans while stopping by Triple M’s studios for a brief chat with Jane Kennedy and Mick Molloy.

Karl, who is engaged to Mara & Mine designer Jasmine Yarbrough, completed his look with a black T-shirt and a Boston Red Sox cap.
The Today host was joined by a gentleman in a pink shirt, who appeared to be assisting Karl with his media appearances.

He exchanged vows with his fiancée Jasmine in a surprise commitment ceremony in Sydney’s Palm Beach earlier this month.
But shortly afterwards, it emerged that an Uber driver was trying to sell details of a private conversation between Karl and his brother Peter.
The Uber driver had reportedly ‘overheard’ the Stefanovic brothers discussing Channel Nine management and other on-air talent.

During the conversation, Karl allegedly criticsed his Today co-host Georgie Gardner for being a ‘fence-sitter’ and not having enough opinions.
On Monday 19th March, the day New Idea published a front page exposé about ‘Ubergate’, Karl was presenting the breakfast program with Georgie.
Georgie, 47, appeared to take a thinly-veiled swipe at her co-host, branding him ‘pathetic’ during a segment about a dachshund parade in the UK.
