Karlie Kloss officially hung up her Victoria’s Secret Angel wings three years ago but it looks as though the model has lost none of her confidence when it comes to strutting her stuff on the catwalk in the brand’s famous Fashion Show.
The 25-year-old, who retired as an Angel back in February 2015, a few months after walking in the 2014 show, made a stunning return to the event this year, wowing the crowds in Shanghai as she made her way down the runway in two fierce ensembles.
First, Karlie stepped out on stage in a very angelic outfit comprised of a glittering ivory-colored bra-and-panties set, a beaded robe, dazzling silver and feather necklaces, thigh-high lace-up heels – and, of course, a pair of beautiful feather-embellished wings.

Working it! The 25-year-old looked as though no time had passed since her last appearance in the brand’s famous fashion show, and she made a confident and seriously sexy appearance on the catwalk
Karlie beamed with delight as she made her way down the runway in front of the crowds – having had to perform in the show not once, but twice. The first show was recorded for the broadcast which is due to air on November 28 on CBS – while the models’ second runway walks were done in front of an audience and photographers.
But if the long day was taking a toll on her, coding fan Karlie – who actually took a step back from her commitments with the brand in order to pursue her studied at New York University – showed no signs of tiredness as she made her way down the runway.
Having rocked her first look, Karlie then returned to the runway in a second, rather more risque ensemble, modeling a red tartan outfit that was made up of a bra and matching studded panties and a floor-length red plaid robe.
The look was accessorized with a pair of very saucy thigh high leather lace-up boots.

Both of Karlie’s looks were very different to the ensembles she modeled when she last appeared in the show, back in November 2014 when she walked as an official Angel.
At the time, the then-22-year-old showcased two gold-focused outfits, the first featuring a beautiful pair of metallic rose gold wings, while the other featured a jacket that looked like a pair of feathered gold wings had been draped around her shoulders.
But despite finding serious success as an official Angel, Karlie’s retirement was announced just months later in February 2015, when the lingerie giant’s senior creative director Ed Razek confirmed that she had become too busy to fulfill her commitments to the brand.
However, while Karlie, who joined the brand in 2011 as a campaign star and fashion show model, before signing on as an Angel in 2013, was officially hanging up her wings, Mr Razek suggested that the brand would always be open to her returning whenever she was ready and had the time to commit.
Round two: Karlie also modeled a second look during the show, a much more festive-looking red tartan number

Karlie and I met several months ago to discuss the many things she hoped to do in her life and career,’ he wrote on his Instagram account while confirming the model’s decision to retire as an Angel.
‘As we talked, it became clear she would not have the time to fulfill her myriad commitments.
‘Reluctantly, we agreed she would leave the brand at the end of her contract.

Off she goes: It was a long day for the models, who set off for the show first thing in the morning in order to start getting glammed up for the catwalk
Karlie certainly seemed to get back into the swing of things very easily, looking totally cool, calm and collected as she joined her fellow catwalk stars backstage to get glammed up for the show.
Beaming and waving at the cameras as she left her hotel, bundled up in a faux fur leopard-pattered coat, Karlie looked delighted to be making a return to the festivities after her three-year break.
And once backstage, her mood didn’t appear to dampen in the slightest, and she was snapped posing happily for several stunning portraits while in the make-up chair, as well as jumping into some group shots with some of her fellow models.
The social media star, who boasts an impressive 6.9 million followers on Instagram, and 5.2 million fans on Twitter, made sure to keep them all updated throughout the pre-show process, snapping videos and pictures on her iPhone while the glam squad went to work on.
After the show, the model took to Twitter to celebrate her return, simply writing: ‘Wow well that was fun.’
