It appears the singer-songwriter may not have heeded the council warnings to try to stop the erosion around the 200-year-old, 17-acre estate.
A public footpath in front of Bush’s home, which she bought for £2.5 million in 2005, collapsed into the sea in 2014 following a landslide and she was warned her home might be next.
Steve Gardner, who represents Devon County Council, warned her at the time: ‘If you live there you can either accept it and let your house fall into the sea, or you can take action to prevent further damage, although that can cost hundreds of thousands.

‘You can attach netting to the cliff face, or another option is spraying it with concrete, although these are very expensive and not something the council would pay for.’
The Devonshire home is thought to be the main residence for the singer, who is worth an estimated £40 million.
The property is believed to have provided her with the inspiration for her 2005 album Aerial and lives there with musician Dan MacIntosh and son Bertie, 19.
Following a break-in at the property by an obsessive fan on Boxing Day in 2011, she installed high-security fencing, electronic entry stystems, warning signs and blinding spotlights.
