In another photo, the reality star cuddled her daughter Shae, whom she welcomed in July last year.

Rio’s children Lorenz, 17, Tate, 15, and Tia, 12, also joined them on the trip, with Tate commenting on Kate’s post: ‘Beautiful time away spent with the most lovely people I could imagine. Just splendid’.

The family stayed at a luxury property rental where prices for a three bedroom cottage start around £1,200 and can go upwards of £4,000 and beyond for bigger homes.

Kate captioned the post: ‘A fabulous Easter weekend spent @wildernessreserve

‘bear hunts, wild lake swim, bike rides, family time. There’s something about being in the country I just love.’

The sweet family getaway comes after Kate spoke of the ‘beautiful bond’ she has created with step-daughter Tia last week.

The television personality shared a sweet video of the pair holding hands while running along the beach as she said she ‘couldn’t imagine life’ without her.

Kate looked incredible in a black bikini which she teamed with a matching skirt while Tia, 12, donned a red two-piece with a white mini beach skirt.

Alongside the video, Kate penned: ‘It can be tough coming in as a step mum to a young girl that has lost her mum but over the years, the ups & downs, the judgements from others, the beautiful and the confusing moments a beautiful bond has been created.

‘It’s a privilege to step in and look after you as a mother would. We drive each other crazy at times but we also couldn’t imagine life without each other.

‘As long as we get us, no one else needs to. This is an extra special love & it really is unconditional.’
