She added: ‘It was the time in my life defined by and dedicated to beautiful women on reality shows and I just wanted to see them, gain proximity and maybe come out of it a little more like them.’

Katherine also confessed: ‘I could tell they were positioned around Hef as a job. For them, this was less of a party, more a disturbance in their back garden.’

Elsewhere in her interview, Katherine – who shares three-month-old son Fred with her husband Bobby Kootstra and has daughter Violet, 12, from a previous relationship – revealed she had once been ‘pied off’ by the late Stephen Hawking.

The blonde bombshell recalled how she had been chatting to the physicist at an A-list party, however was soon approached by Stephen’s assistant and told his ‘tablet has no battery’.

It comes days after the mother-of-two looked radiant as she hosted the launch of her new memoir The Audacity on Thursday at The Ned’s Club in London.

The comedian was a vision in a pink thigh-slit maxi dress featuring silver pinstripes as she beamed for photographers.
