Katherine Webb has opened up about why she ‘quit’ Hollywood, saying she doesn’t have any regrets about giving it all up to marry her ‘forever love’ — Houston Texans quarterback AJ McCarron — and have two sons.
The 30-year-old model took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday to share a tweet celebrating the seven-year anniversary of sportscaster Brent Musburger calling her a ‘beautiful woman’ during a live broadcast of the 2013 National Championship Game.
The viral footage of the commentator fawning over her while she watched her now-husband lead the Alabama Crimson Tide to victory helped launch her to fame, but she admitted that she didn’t actually like being in the spotlight.

‘I quit “Hollywood” shortly after bc I realized I genuinely hated being “famous” and having my personal life out there so much,’ Katherine wrote. ‘But I did some amazing things and met some amazing people along the way.’
The former Miss Alabama went on to reminisce about all of the things she accomplished in her career before she became a wife and mother.
‘I fulfilled a dream and landed in Sports Illustrated,’ she captioned a picture of herself holding up her spread in the magazine’s iconic swimsuit issue.

Katherine went on to share a saucy photo of herself chowing down on a burger, writing: ‘I filmed a Carl’s Jr. commercial that ran on national television during the entire 2013/2014 football season.’
It was a big year for the model, who also covered the Super Bowl for Inside Edition in 2013, but she admitted things didn’t end up going as planned.

Katherine and AJ have two sons together, Tripp, three, and Cash, one, and while she will sometimes post the occasional bikini snapshot, she mostly shares family pictures these days.
She is also a budding artist and showcases her abstract paintings on her @kwmfineart Instagram account.
