Kathleen de Leon Jones doesn’t look like this anymore! Hi-5 star looks unrecognisable after 10-year absence

Kathleen de Leon Jones shocked viewers when she appeared on The Morning Show on Thursday, after a 10-year absence from Australian television screens.

The original Hi-5 star, who is married to Savage Garden’s Daniel Jones, was on the show to discuss her daughter Keira’s stage debut in a production of Billy Elliot at The Star Gold Coast.

Kathleen looked world’s away from the beloved children’s entertainer of yesteryear as she happily chatted to co-hosts Larry Emdur and Kylie Gillies.  

Her once short hair now cascades down her shoulders, with the bubbly personality opting for blonder tresses in favour of her once-famous brunette locks 

During the interview, Kathleen said both her and husband Daniel were excited Keira and eldest daughter Mikayla were following in their parent’s footsteps and moving in showbusiness.

‘I mean, they always showed signs,’ she told the breakfast TV hosts. 

‘It’s a fantastic medium to express yourself and it’s so fun.

‘We’re very proud that they’re kind of following in our footsteps and they found a love for performing.

Elsewhere in the chat, Kathleen revealed the family was no living on the Gold Coast after a stint in the US. 

‘We’re loving life at the moment. We’ve been here for a few years now, we were in the States for 10 years,’ she said.

‘We just love it here. It feels like we’re on holiday,’ she continued.
