Katie Holmes and the cast of Dawson’s Creek share throwback photos for the show’s 25th anniversary

Katie Holmes shared several wholesome throwback photos with the Dawson’s Creek cast to Instagram on Friday.

It’s been 25 years since the hit drama series Dawson’s Creek premiered, which ran for six seasons between 1998 and 2003.

In honor of the huge milestone, the stars of the show began dishing out behind-the-scenes shots, including the 44-year-old actress.

The now 44-year-old played Joey Potter on the show, who became the main point of the show’s famed love triangle. On the other ends of the triangle were Dawson Leery, played by James Van Der Beek, and Pacey Witter, played by Joshua Jackson.

Katie shared three shots of herself with other members of the cast on her Instagram stories that were originally posted by Mary-Margaret Humes, who played Dawson’s mom on the show.

Along with sharing the photos, the Batman Begins actress wrote a few heartfelt words to accompany one of the shots.

‘Happy 25th!!!!! I loved growing up with everyone and experiencing some really beautiful times! Thank you to all of the fans of #dawsonscreek.’

In the first shot, the beauty laid across the laps of several of her cast members with her arm holding up her head as she smiled at the camera.

Many members of the cast and the crew gathered on the couch as they all posed for the photo.

The following shot had the actress smiling wide while in a side hug with Mary-Margaret Humes. The two had their arms around each other as they laughed at the camera.

For the last shot, Katie was in a more formal photo with some of the main cast members. They were all dressed up and posed nicely for the photograph.

He started by saying: ’25 years ago today… my life changed. Not gradually, not day-by-day… instantly.

‘It was the culmination of 5 years of auditioning, hundreds of hours on stage, thousands of hours traveling, preparing, dreaming, hoping, hearing “no,” and making up reasons to keep going. But the shift was overnight.’

The actor went on to share how fame wasn’t everything he expected it to be, that there were cool ‘pinch myself’ moments, and how thankful he was to have met the people he did.
