Katie Price was slammed by a judge for ‘lacking respect’ after she failed to turn up in court over an alleged playground row with Kieran Hayler’s girlfriend.
Crawley Magistrates’ Court was forced to delay the mother-of-five’s hearing for a week as Price is currently holidaying in Thailand with her boyfriend Kris Boyson.
The former model was facing her third court case of the year after confronting Michelle Penticost at the school where she works as a teacher, allegedly asking her: ‘Are you enjoying f***ing my husband?’
Price, 40, had come face-to-face with Ms Penticost in front of shocked parents as she picked up Jett, 5, and Bunny, 4, her two children with Mr Hayler.
In a brief hearing, District Judge Amanda Kelly said Price and her solicitor seemingly had ‘something more important’ happening than to turn up to the court case.
The judge said it would be ‘tempting’ to consider issuing an arrest warrant but she decided not to as the penalty for the offence was a fine.

She added: ‘That’s rather demonstrating a lack of respect for the court.’
Judge Kelly said she was ‘tempted’ to hear the case in Price’s absence, but decided against it.
The judge adjourned the hearing to March 20 as Price said she will not be available until March 18.
However a source close to Price said she was ‘unaware’ of today’s hearing but was ‘fully prepared’ for next week’s date.
The court was also told that Price had failed to turn up to a police interview in relation to the matter.
Price had been charged with two counts of threatening behaviour by postal requisition on February 7.
She faces two counts of threatening behaviour following an incident in September last year.
A charge sheet claimed she used ‘threatening or abusive words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress’.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: ‘Police received a report of verbal abuse by a woman in the playground of [a school], about 3.15pm on 5 September 2018.

‘Enquiries are ongoing and there are no further details at this stage.’
The former glamour model has previously appeared in court this year over two separate driving offences – being drunk in charge of a vehicle and driving while disqualified and without insurance.
Price was criticised on February 25 when she laughed off a three-month driving ban after she was found slumped in a ‘very’ drunken state in the back of her vomit-covered pink Range Rover which police saw collide with a grass verge.
She was almost twice the legal limit after drinking four pornstar martinis when she was arrested in the early hours last October in Greenwich, South East London.
The TV personality was cleared of drink driving after claiming the driver was her boyfriend’s friend.
in January, she was banned from getting behind the wheel for three months after she admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance.
She was also fined £1,100 after being spotted driving on the A24 near her West Sussex home on July 25 while a six-month driving ban was still in place.
She pleaded with the court not to ban her again, saying she needed her car to visit her terminally ill mother Amy and ferry her son Harvey, who has various conditions including Prader–Willi syndrome, to hospital appointments.
