Katie Price confirms Channel 4 series Mucky Mansion has been ‘axed as she prepares to rent out her home for £6K a week’ – amid £3.2M bankruptcy

Katie Price has seemingly confirmed her Channel 4 show Mucky Mansion TV show has been axed as she prepares to rent out her West Sussex home for £6K a week.

The makeover series, which last aired in February, saw the model, 45, attempt to transform the 19-room £3million property after it fell into a state of disrepair. 

She said on her Katie Price Podcast: ‘I’m still thinking of renting it, it’s just too big for me. I’m always up in Essex [where on-off fiancé Carl Wood lives] at the minute’.

‘[I want to] get something smaller. I don’t know. I just think this house gives me bad luck’.

Before adding: ‘It’s such a good family home but it is too big for me. It’s more of an excuse for the kids to make a mess.’

According to The Sun Katie could rake in £6K a week in rent amid her ongoing £3.2M bankruptcy.

MailOnline have contacted Channel 4 for comment.  

A third season was planned, however a report earlier this year suggested producers ‘wen’t  too keen’ on renewing the programme after viewing figures fell by 300,000.

Last month it was revealed Katie was to face questioning in court over her £3.2million debt after she declared bankruptcy in 2019.

The reality star, who was once estimated to be worth £45million, previously agreed to pay £12,000 a month but has not been sticking to the deal, according to those owed the money.

She previously opened up about her bankruptcy, claiming it is related to two people in her past and insisted that her West Sussex home ‘Mucky Mansion’ is safe.

Katie has also revealed that she fears the West Sussex property gives her ‘bad luck’ and wants to move out of the home despite ploughing money into renovation.

It comes after Katie reportedly moved out of the Sussex property and in with on-off fiancé Carl Woods in Essex.

Despite working hard to make the Horsham home liveable again, it is claimed Carl’s car has been seen on the driveway of his Essex home while neighbours have seen the couple coming and going.

A source told The Sun: ‘She’s living there part time – you can see the house’s distinctive conservatory in the background of some of her TikToks and live streams.

‘She moved in before their Ibiza trip but nobody knows why as she’s talked so much about the Mucky Mansion’s makeover and how it’s worth £2million.

‘Carl’s cars are on the drive and neighbours have seen them both at the house.’

Carl owned a £460,000 property in Essex but sold it, subject to contract, in April this year.
