Katie Price indulges in retail therapy during a break from her rehab stint

Katie Price has once again enjoyed a break from her court-assigned stint in The Priory, as she enjoyed an afternoon of retail therapy on Tuesday.

The reality star, who was ordered to enter rehab by a judge following her alcohol-fuelled car crash last month, was seen heading to a nail salon and a nearby café in a casual white jumper and grey tracksuit bottoms.

Katie’s sighting comes just hours after it was reported that her ex-husband Peter Andre has told his legal team to contact the former model over her claims he has no interested in keeping in touch with his former stepson Harvey.

Katie opted for a laid-back ensemble as she paid a visit to a salon to get her nails done, before splashing out on some new clothes at the fashion boutique Valentina.

The TV personality covered up in a casual bomber jacket with a Gucci-inspired print, and carried her essentials in a Louis Vuitton bag.

Since entering the Priory last month, Katie has been spotted taking a break from the rehabilitation centre on several occasions, and was pictured heading for a spray tan on Friday.

The star then enjoyed a date night with her fiancé Carl Woods on Saturday, with insiders telling The Sun he has been ‘a frequent visitor’.

On Saturday Katie finally apologised for her actions in her drink-and-drug-fuelled crash, stating she has ‘taken full responsibility for her actions.’

A statement given by her family to the Sunday Mirror read: ‘Kate acknowledges and takes full responsibility for her actions. She knows they were wrong and apologises. Kate is deeply loved and she loves her family.

‘We are all there for her right now – and her children, who she loves dearly, are giving her strength as a mum.’

In recent days fans have also been given a glimpse of Katie’s upcoming book Harvey & Me, which sees the star reflect on raising her eldest son as a single parent.

But her ex-husband Peter has reportedly called in lawyers over claims she has made in the memoir, particularly about his relationship with Harvey.

According to The Sun, the singer, 48, has told his legal team to get in touch with the former model, 43, after she claimed he had ‘no interest’ in staying in touch with former stepson Harvey.

Peter’s lawyers are said to have sent legal letters to Katie along with evidence following the claims.

A source said: ‘Pete is a great dad – he was devastated to be blocked from seeing Harvey and begged to see him more and more.

‘He’s tried on hundreds of occasions to see him. Pete is sick of Katie’s lies and being dragged into her life again.

‘He doesn’t want her talking about him. He doesn’t talk about her, she needs to stop talking about him.’

In her book, Katie writes that Harvey was upset when she and Peter split and even mentioning the singer’s name around her son ‘stresses him out’.

The couple, who are parents to Junior, 16, and Princess, 14, split in 2009 and Peter has since remarried wife Emily and has welcomed two more children, Amelia, seven, and Theo, five.

In 2009, Peter was given compensation and a public apology from Katie following an interview she gave to Heat magazine.

Peter sued for defamation after Katie falsely claimed he had cheated on her and did not genuinely care for Harvey.

Katie is facing jail after pleading guilty to a slew of motoring offences and has checked into The Priory rehabilitation clinic to treat her drink and drug problems.

The star crashed her BMW while double the drink-drive limit after leaving her home to allegedly hunt for drugs during an all-night alcohol and cocaine bender which came after she rowed with Carl.

She then admitted charges of drink-driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance at Crawley Magistrates’ Court.

She could face prison after being charged with driving while unfit to drive through drink, using a motor vehicle on a public place without third-party insurance and driving while disqualified.

Katie was told that her sentencing had been deferred for 11 weeks until December 15 to allow her to have treatment at The Priory and speak to the probation service.

Chair of the bench Julie Hutton told her she could leave but warned her against driving in the interim, saying: ‘You are free to go and good luck at the Priory.’

The troubled star is mum to Junior, 16, and Princess, 14, who she shares with Peter Andre, as well as Jett, 8, and Bunny, 7, with ex-husband Kieran Hayler and Harvey, 18, with Dwight Yorke.

Police were called to Katie’s Essex home at around 1.30am on August 23, where a man was arrested on suspicion of assault, theft and coercive and controlling behaviour.

Katie was taken to hospital and was pictured the following day with bruises to her face and an injured lip.

Katie said she was attacked as she watched TV – forcing her to flee in terror to her son Harvey’s nearby home.

In a two minute clip, Carl said: ‘I’ve not been on Instagram for a long, long time, and let me tell you this past month has been one of the roughest of my life. Never, ever, ever have I felt so low.

‘I had to go into hiding and shut down. If I wasn’t a stronger person in the head it would absolutely have defeated me.’

He added: ‘Everyone just remember who I am and all the things I did at the start when I first came onto the scene, that’s all I can say.

‘I’m a good fella and I’ve always been a good fella and always will be a good fella.

‘Anyone who thinks anything different of me, when you know the truth and I’m allowed to tell the truth, you’ll be eating your words.

‘I just hope everyone who had the balls to abuse me has the balls to say ‘look, do you know what, I’m sorry’. That is what I ask, because I’ve screenshotted every single one of you.’

Concluding the video, he said: ‘I have never and would never, ever do a thing to hurt Katie, never.’
