The Lord of the Rings actor recently gushed over the songstress in an interview with The Times, calling her a ‘remarkable human’.
Talking to the publication, he said: ‘She’s a remarkable human being, actually.’
‘I wouldn’t have imagined anything happening. And, you know, when you get hit sideways you get hit sideways,’ he added. ‘You don’t pick who you fall in love with.’
The sweet comments come after a source told People magazine that the couple are ‘more serious than ever’ since spending a year apart.
According to the reports, the pop princess and actor are ‘stronger’ since rekindling, and ‘missed each other’ when they called time on their year-long romance in March 2017.
The source told the publication: ‘Orlando and Katy are great. They are dating exclusively again and things seem more serious.’
The insider added that Orlando became bored of living the single life during his break from Katy, and the Pirates Of The Caribbean star wants to focus on being a one-woman man.
‘They are both excited about it and don’t want to hide, but at the same time they are trying to keep privacy as well.

The European leg of Katy’s Witness tour began in Germany in May and will continue on to Copenhagen, Stockholm and London over the coming days.
