Katy Perry reminisces on 37th birthday celebrations with fiance Orlando Bloom in Cabo San Lucas

She celebrated her birthday with the ones she loves the most.

And Katy Perry reminisced on a week away with her best pals as she shared a series of snaps from a quick trip down to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

The 37-year-old singer admitted to having a ton of fun with fiance Orlando Bloom as she joked that her ‘hangovers last 5-7 business days.’

Katy looked completely at ease while soaking up the sun with her friends as she roamed around the resort wearing a gorgeous black lace dress.

She swept her bright blonde hair back into a low bun and showed off her golden tan while heading to dinner. 

Orlando and Katy smiled as they posed next to a massive yacht named ‘Happy Endings’ which was docked in the marina. 

The group enjoyed a romantic moment on the sand while riding horses into the sunset by the shoreline.

She recently marked a major milestone with her daughter’s first birthday and wrote on Twitter: ‘1 year ago today is the day my life began… Happy first Birthday my Daisy Dove, my love.’ 

The I Kissed a Girl songstress admitted becoming a mother has taught her the importance of unconditional love.

She explained: ‘As a performer, I’ve always relied on the love and acceptance and validation of the outside world and that ultimately can waver at times. 

‘When you have a child, you have someone who looks at you and doesn’t know anything on your resume, doesn’t know anything about your bank account, doesn’t know anything, doesn’t care, and just loves you.’

Katy also called the lockdown enforced by the COVID-19 pandemic a ‘blessing’, as it allowed her to spend more time at home with Daisy and Carnival Row star Orlando, although she is looking forward to getting back on stage with her upcoming residency Play in Las Vegas.

She said: ‘It’s been a blessing in a lot of ways to be home this past year with my daughter, but everything is about to pop off June 15th in all sorts of places, so let’s go. By December people are going to be raging.’

Bloom and Perry first began dating in 2016 before parting ways, only to rekindle their romance in 2018.

They would announcement their engagement in early 2019 after the Pirates Of The Caribbean star popped the big question during a helicopter ride that his ladylove later called a very James Bond move. 

‘We landed on a rooftop [in Los Angeles] and my whole family was there, and all my friends. He did so well,’ she confessed.
