Katy Perry dubbed Orlando Bloom her ‘hero’ on Thursday after he came to her rescue during a wardrobe malfunction at the Variety’s Power of Women event.
The 36-year-old singer called her fiancé up to the stage at the Wallis Annenberg Centre, Beverly Hills, as she announced that the corset of her billowy lilac gown was too tight, meaning she couldn’t initially perform.
Gracing the stage in the show-stopping number, the I Kissed A Girl pop star said: ‘Hello! Orlando, can you undo my corset, it’s a little tight. I can’t sing.’

As her doting beau left his seat to assist her, the crowd began to lightly cheer and giggle.
The Hobbit actor, 44, fumbled with the zip as the audience – and Katy – waited with bated breath.
‘Pull it all the way down!’ she told him, ‘I have a girdle in here.’
