The Evening Standard Theatre Awards is the oldest awards ceremony in the UK to celebrate theatrical talent and were first established back in 1955. Every year, the showbiz elite descend on the annual event that celebrates the outstanding achievements in London theatre.
The critically-acclaimed productin of The Ferryman leads the nominations for this year’s ceremony, as it is listed for four awards; Best Play, Best Director (Sam Mendes), Best Actress (Laura Donnelly) and Best Emerging Talent (Tom Glynn-Carney).
