Keira Rumble has described the ‘surreal’ joy of welcoming her son, Hunter, in July, after suffering six miscarriages.
The 30-year-old, who runs the health food business Krumbled Foods from the New South Wales Central Coast, says the family are, ‘doing really well.’
‘It still feels surreal to have baby Hunter in my arms every day. It is hard not having our family being able to see him, but trying to look at the positives of us soaking up every moment with him,’ she told Confidential on Sunday.

However the delivery was not without drama, with Hunter arriving early.
‘We started off a bit rough as Hunter was whisked away to special care a few moments after he was born as he was born prematurely,’ she said.
Keira, who boasts 378,000 Instagram followers, added happily: ‘Having a baby is painful, it is messy but it is absolutely incredible’.

The blonde announced the birth of her son on July, 6, sharing photos of herself and her partner cuddling the newborn in hospital.
She wrote in the caption: ‘Fashionably early to the rest of his life ~ my beautiful boy my heart hurts with how much we love you. Such a surreal feeling right now.
‘Bubs is doing amazingly, he will be in NICU for the next few days / weeks getting some much needed help for his little lungs. Note to self for next pregnancy ~ pack that hospital bag early’.

The influencer and her partner suffered six miscarriages over three years.
During her last pregnancy, Keira was rushed in to hospital for life-saving surgery after a heterotopic pregnancy was discovered.
A heterotopic pregnancy is rare and involves a dual pregnancy with one pregnancy being ectopic – or in an abnormal place.
She also discovered she had extensive endometriosis – a disease in which tissue that is similar to the lining of the womb grows outside it.

Determined to have a child, last year Keira and her partner began IVF, as their final hope of conceiving.
‘I went into our first round of IVF not expecting much,’ Keira told Daily Mail Australia earlier this year.
‘I have close friends who have done between nine and 10 rounds, so I was very much preparing myself for the first round to be a bit of a discovery round, to see how well my body responded to the medication.’

Before beginning the IVF, Keira said she was given a diagnosis of a blood clotting condition called Factor V Leiden, which gave the couple some certainty as to why they had been losing babies beforehand.
But it took Keira ‘off guard’ when she found out she was pregnant after the first round of IVF.
She decided to announce she was pregnant at nine weeks, because Keira said she was sick of feeling so ‘isolated’ while expecting.

‘For me, pregnancies should be celebrated no matter how far along they are,’ she said.
‘We’re told to announce at 12 weeks, but if you unfortunately suffer a loss, it’s better people know because you have them mourning with you, rather than feeling isolated and alone.
‘I wanted to announce my pregnancy because it was my seventh pregnancy and I felt no matter what the outcome was, I needed to celebrate this little miracle.’
