‘All life is precious even our pets. So long Len Len.’

It comes after Keith revealed his pride last year as he opened up about Mia’s new career success as she moved onto a new chapter.

Mia, who suffers from the developmental condition autism, studied enterprise computing at university.

Keith revealed that she was offered a prestigious position with an American company, upon the completion of her degree.

In a chat with the Irish Mirror ahead of World Autism Acceptance Week, Keith shared his happiness for his daughter, who has overcome an abundance of obstacles.

The Irish singer said: ‘She’s doing wonderful – we’re very, very proud of her. Mia’s very determined.

‘She puts a lot of pressure on herself, but she achieves a great amount, and that was all down to appropriate intervention at the right stage of her life, which we had to fight hand over tooth for, but we got there.’

The No Matter What hitmaker said that he and his wife didn’t know much about Autism when Mia was a child, noticing ‘funny little traits’ in their daughter when she was young.

‘She was doing all kinds of things that were alien to us and we thought there was something not quite right,’ he shared.

While Keith and his wife knew something wasn’t right, they claimed there wasn’t much awareness of Autism at the time, so they didn’t understand it.

Continuing: ‘Somebody suggested autism, but we had no idea what autism was at the time – we had no education on it and we didn’t understand it.’
