Keith Urban reveals the ‘effortless’ workout routine that leaves him ‘in really great shape’ as he takes up Las Vegas residency

Keith Urban has opened up about the workout routine he employs to ensure he stays in great shape, ahead of a series of concerts in Las Vegas.

The Australian singer, 56, revealed that his regular stage performances helped keep him in the best shape of his life.

‘I love the adrenaline of a live show. I love I get to do two hours of solid cardio on stage,’ Keith told People Magazine.

‘I ain’t walking into a gym to do two hours of cardio. I promise you that, like ever, but I’ll do it here effortlessly and end up in really great shape.’

The country star added that having his trusty guitar strapped around his neck as he performed helped keep him in top shape.

‘I’ve got a 10-pound plank of wood around my neck, and I’m singing. I love the physicality of what I do and how I get to do it.’

Earlier this year, Keith’s wife Nicole Kidman said she is grateful to have met him two decades ago, as she reflected on their incredible romance.

‘I’m so lucky that I have Keith who’s my deep, deep love,’ she told People magazine.

‘I’m so lucky that I have Keith… that gives me the ability to go and do whatever I have to do because I know where I can come back,’ she added.

The power couple married in 2006 and share daughters Sunday, 16, and Faith, 13.

In August, it was reported that Keith and Nicole had found themselves at odds over whether to call Australia or America their home.

With the pair calling Nashville home since 2007, Keith is keen to get back into the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles, according to New Idea.

An insider claimed Keith, who has battled drug and alcohol addiction in the past, is worried he is ageing out of being one of the ‘cool kids of country music’ in Nashville, and sees jumping into the thick of it in LA as a great way to stay out of trouble.

It comes after Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban launched her modelling career as she walked the Miu Miu’s Paris Womenswear Spring-Summer 2025 show in Paris last week.

She looked all business, sporting a stoic expression as she confidently strode the catwalk.

Sunday cut a stunning figure in a white sleeveless dress with a delicate ribbon embellishment from the Italian haute couture label.

She strutted her stuff for the spring 2025 Miu Miu show before doing an interview for Vogue for their Instagram account on Tuesday.

‘I’ve been wanting to do this for so long. So, when the offer came through it was really exciting and now the day is finally here,’ she said of her debut.

‘I was really stressed and then… everyone here was really nice.’
