The event, which took place under the banner of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program, was nixed due to weather concerns, and rescheduled for Saturday.
‘This mission will validate the company’s crew transportation system, including the launch pad, rocket, spacecraft, and operational capabilities,’ NASA said of the task.
It added: ‘This also will be the first time NASA astronauts will test the spacecraft systems in orbit.’
