Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos called out their neighbors for allegedly filing a noise complaint against them during Thursday’s episode of Live With Kelly and Mark.
The 53-year-old actress and her 52-year-old co-host initially broached the topic during a discussion centered on rising noise levels caused by the rising popularity of pickleball, of which their Long Island neighbors are particularly fond.
The television personality, who recently opened up about the upside of menopause, and her husband then spoke about an instance where the individuals in question made what they viewed as an unnecessary gesture.
Consuelos recalled: ‘It’s interesting, our neighbors, who, they’re fine, out on Long Island, they complained about a Halloween party back in 1999.’
The Riverdale star added that the event was not particularly, raucous, stating: ‘The party was from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It was a kids’ party.’

Ripa then stated that they ‘got a noise complaint from our friendly neighbors’ during the celebratory event.
Consuelos also gave his reasoning for the complaint, and recalled: ‘There was too much Monster Mash playing.’
The actor claimed that the same neighbors had since become equally noisy ever since taking up pickleball, although he had found a way to get a little bit of payback for the incident in 1999.
He said, ‘It sounds like you’re hitting a broken ball. That’s all I hear. But we have speakers by their property, and I play the Monster Mash all day long.’
The All My Children actress then quipped: ‘There’s nothing like a graveyard smash in July.’
Ripa and Consuelos have served as co-hosts of Live ever since this past April, when the latter signed on to helm the program.
The actress initially began working on Live in 2001, when she was paired with longtime host Regis Philbin.
The late television personality remained with the show for ten years before he stepped back from his duties, after which the former Hope & Faith cast member co-hosted the show with various guests.

Ryan Seacrest signed on to work along Ripa in 2017 and remained with the show for nearly six years until he was replaced by Consuelos.
The happy couple spoke about co-hosting Live during an interview with People, during which the actress expressed that she was thrilled to be able to headline the program with her husband.
Ripa stated: ‘To have Mark join me at that desk every day, it’s a dream come true.’
Consuelos added that his enthusiasm for the show was ‘indescribable [and] we’re super, super grateful…I had filled in so many times and had a blast every single time.’
