Kendra Wilkinson started a tweet storm on Wednesday as she traveled to be with family for Thanksgiving.
Hugh Hefner’s former girlfriend shared video on Instagram showing her picking cotton while driving through Texas.
‘I’ve always wanted to pick a piece of cotton but I’m probably going to get shot doing it,’ the ex Playboy pinup, 32, joked on camera.

But not everyone was laughing.
She instantly attracted comment on her Twitter feed from folks who thought she was racist because of the link between cotton-picking in the South and slavery.
She retorted by tweeting that she was ‘baffled at the accusations’ because she is married to a black man Hank Baskett and is spending time with her ‘black father-in-law’ for the holidays.
The Instagram stories video clip starts with her sitting in the front passenger seat of a vehicle driving past fields of cotton.

When she says she’s always wanted to pick cotton, her husband and brother-in-law egg her on.
‘This is probably the most illegal thing I have done in my life,’ she says as she gets out of the vehicle and trespasses on the farmland.
She walks across the field to the plants and exclaims: ‘Oh my gosh, look at that, it’s real cotton.’
She plucks a white fluffy ball and excitedly says: ‘I picked cotton!’
She picks a few more pieces of the white fluffy bulbs and then poses with them for the camera.

Kendra also shared other less controversial images from her road trip on social media.
She and her family are driving from their home outside Los Angeles to New Mexico where her in-laws live.
She shared a pic of the sky as her car crossed railroad tracks and added the word: ‘Mood.’
She also posted a snap showing her resting her head against the window sleeping and one of her holding her sleeping daughter Alijah.
