Heather Louise Couchman was at a pedestrian crossing when the crash took place
A ‘kind and bubbly’ mother-of-two has died after being hit by a car at a pedestrian crossing.
Heather Louise Couchman was hit by a silver Toyota Avensis just after 2.40pm on Monday.
The 32-year-old was taken to hospital with a serious head injury and was in a critical condition.
She died on Tuesday evening, Kent Police said.
A statement from her family, issued by the force on Wednesday, said the death has left a ‘massive void’ in their lives which was ‘heart breaking beyond words’.
It said: ‘Heather was such a warm, kind, bubbly, generous and outgoing person.
‘She was a fantastic mum to her two children, who meant the world to her.
‘She was the youngest sister to an older sister and brother and was completely devoted to her family.’
