And on Tuesday, Australian television personality Kerri-Anne Kennerley put on a brave face as she made her first public appearance since his death.
The 65-year-old stepped out at the opening night of the Saturday Night Fever musical in Sydney, at the Sydney Lyric Theatre.

She teamed the look with black high-waisted trousers, which featured flared bottoms.
The Studio 10 star – who returned back to TV screens last month – carried a black glitzy Chanel handbag and wore platform heels.

Last month on Studio 10, Kerri-Anne admitted she was ‘shocked’ at his death, as she thought she had more time with him.
‘The hole it leaves in your life, it’s so painful. It’s a hole that will never be filled,’ she said, clutching a tissue in her hand.
‘It was a shock because I thought I would have John for many, many, many years to come. It was a terrible shock.’
She added: ‘It’s not fair, but life happens.’
At the event on Tuesday meanwhile, Kerri-Anne joined the likes of Danielle Spencer, cricket WAG Kyly Clarke, former Australian Idol star Casey Donovan and media personality, Deborah Hutton.
Danielle, 49, the ex-wife of Russell Crowe, looked like a blonde bombshell in a gold top and tight trousers.
She teamed the look with a silver choker and had her long locks out and over her shoulders.

The 64-year-old TV veteran enjoyed a date night with his girlfriend, Virginia Burmeister, 50.
