Kerry Katona has been pictured with her daughter Dylan-Jorge for the first time since the five-year-old’s father George Kay died from a suspected drug overdose.

Kay, 39, who was married to Katona for three years, was found collapsed at his home in Warrington, Cheshire, and was taken to hospital where he died on Saturday.

The former Atomic Kitten singer looked in a sombre mood out in Warrington with her young daughter DJ and mother Sue Katona.

Katona – who was wearing an ‘I’m trying my best badge’ on her army camouflage coat –  has been accused of stopping Kay from seeing his daughter, friends have claimed.

It comes just a day after campaign group Fathers4Justice tweeted at the mother-of-five today, saying she had ‘blood on her hands.’

The tweet said: ‘Tragic news about the passing of George Kay who came to Fathers4Justice for help. He was heartbroken after @KerryKatona7 denied him access to daughter Dylan-Jorge.

‘Katona’s not ‘heartbroken’. She has blood on her hands. Matt O’C #RIP.’

Katona’s 17-year-old daughter Molly slammed the tweet, saying it was ‘disgusting’ and ‘extremely insensitive.’

She said: ‘I suggest take this tweet down, how dare you make statements this disguisting at such a vulnerable time, your accusations are innacurate nd extremely insensitive. I truly hope you never find yourself in this kind of situation. Vile words from a vile person you should be ashamed.’

Molly was supported by Katona’s mother Sue Katona who said ‘so true’ in another tweet.

Fans also piled in to lambast the post from Fathers4Justice – who are best known for dressing up in superhero costumes to protest for fathers’ rights – imploring them to take it down and describing it as ‘disgusting.’

One said: ‘What an awful thing to say blood on her hands, disgusting comment.

And another social media user said: ‘Wow I’m no fan but that is harsh tweet to make.’

While another Twitter user said: ‘This tweet should be removed immediately…what a nasty, horrible thing to say and tarnishes the reputation of your organisation!

‘He was a troubled man, clearly. I don’t doubt he was heartbroken but to blame his ex who knew the extent of his troubles is horrid.’

Fathers4Justice founder Matt O’Connor, told the Daily Mirror: ‘We spoke a few times throughout 2018, he had been cut off from seeing his daughter and wasn’t in a good place.

‘George was going through what is known as a ‘living bereavement’, a sense of loss and having the most important thing in his life taken away.

‘He was living with his parents and had run out of money to fight it.

‘He was no saint and was clearly unwell but the situation made everything so much worse. He felt like his life was over.’

But a source close to Katona has claimed she never stopped Kay from seeing his daughter.

Katona married Kay in September 2014, months after giving birth to Dylan-Jorge however the couple divorced in 2017.

There had reportedly been a restraining order issued keeping George away from Katona at the time of his death.

Kay and Katona initially met during their teenage years at at Padgate High School in Warrington where they were childhood sweethearts.
