Meanwhile, Washington just announced she is teaming up with Rashida Jones to bring the Goldie Vance graphic novels to the big screen.
Washington will produce with Jones writing and directing the film for 20th Century Fox.
The books follow a precocious 16-year-old who wants to be a detective and ends up getting embroiled in uncovering an international crime ring that challenges her in ways she never imagined, Variety reported Friday.
