‘I can’t tell you in front of national television because when the Prada bags go missing,’ she told Meyers, who replied, ‘Well that doesn’t seem like taking a memento – that just seems like stealing a purse!’
Kerry responded, ‘It’s not just one purse; it’s like twenty purses in various colors that match every outfit!’
The Bronx-born beauty said that her attachment to the high-end bags are not just for style, but sentiment.
‘They mean a lot to me these bags – seven years of memories in every single, beautiful bag … she is a very well-dressed character and she’s still carrying Prada bags,’ said the stunning starlet, who has two children with husband Nnamdi Asomugha, daughter Isabelle, three, and son Caleb, who celebrated his first birthday on Thursday.

Props: Meyers credited the talented entertainer for helping break the barrier for black female lead actresses on TV shows
Meyers hailed Washington for breaking a cultural barrier in starring on the network show, opening the door for more black actresses to be cast in leading roles.
‘It hasn’t happened on a long time since we started … now there’s tons of shows with black female leads – it’s awesome!’ she said of the progress, as evidenced by programs such as How to Get Away With Murder (Viola Davis), Being Mary Jane (Gabrielle Union) and Pitch (Kylie Bunbury).
Washington noted that the show also led to ‘Indian-American leads, and Southeast Asian, and Asian, and Latin and all kinds of people leading shows, which is true, because all kinds of people live lives.’
Scandal airs Thursdays on ABC at 9/8c.
