Kerry Washington cut a fashionable figure while visiting the Variety Sundance Studio in Park City, Utah, on Saturday morning.

The 46-year-old performer made quite the impression as she posed for a few photos at the media outlet’s outpost, which has been set up for the ongoing Sundance Film Festival.

The actress – who recently went on a book tour to promote her memoir – was also pictured with filmmakers Angela Patton and Natalie Rae during her time at the Studio.

Washington donned a crimson-colored and double-breasted jacket that was paired with matching wide-legged pants.

The Primetime Emmy Award-nominated actress added a bit of pop to her look with a light blue turtleneck sweater.

The Little Fires Everywhere accessorized with several pieces of jewelry as she posed for the photos.

Her beautiful dark brunette hair contrasted perfectly with the vibrant tones of her clothing.

Washington’s appearance at the studio occurred one day after she signed on to serve as one of the executive producers of the documentary feature Daughters.

According to Deadline, the feature, which was directed by Patton and Rae, is centered on four young girls as they prepare for a father-daughter dance with their incarcerated parents.

Other executive producers include Joel Edgerton and author Jessica Seinfeld, whose husband is comedian Jerry Seinfeld.

Washington spoke to Variety on Saturday and revealed why she signed on to produce the project.

‘A story like this that centers people that society often ignores — incarcerated fathers and young Black woman — that’s so important to us,’ she said.

The performer also spoke about the similarities shared by daughter and her show Unprisoned, which is centered on a woman reestablishing her relationship with her formerly incarcerated father.

‘It was so exciting to learn about the documentary and see this story being told in a reality-based way. Our show is inspired by a real story, but these are the real people themselves,’ she said.

Washington concluded by stating that she was proud to have worked on a project that sheds light on the impact of the prison system on families nationwide.

‘We’re so honored we can continue to open people’s lives to the justice system and how it’s impacting people’s lives, not just the people incarcerated.’

Daughters premiered during the Sundance Film Festival, and its producing team is currently seeking distributors.
